DONOR SUPPORT
Black business owners, Micheal Evans (Hot Dog Heaven), Jess Duncan (Jess D. Photography), Tashina Patterson (Blissful Baskets, LLC), Brittany Marshall (Lady Bugs Sweet Treats) and Kenrick Jobe (Accomplished Artist) share their stories of stardom, provide motivation to future business owners and provide giveaways at the Annual Black Business Spotlight sponsored by the Jacket Parent Academy.

The Davidson County Library managers show their donor support of the Jacket Parent Academy (Sheila Killebrew, MLIS, NCPLC, Library Director & Allyson Frick, MLIS, MAEd, Assistant Director). Both continue to educate our parents of the helpful resources the library has for students.

Parents of the Jacket Parent Academy join Davidson Medical Ministries in their "Walk with a Dr" program to distress and learn about CPR and heart health. Dr. Snow of DMM helps our parents and families to stay aware of the free and reduced healthcare services provided in the community.

Members of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America at LSHS show their support for the Jacket Parent Academy. Members prepared appetizers for "Taste Test Time" class and shared recipes for the holidays.
Mr. Frank Wately, a Veteran and retired LCS bus driver, received honors for his volunteer work in classrooms sharing his experiences in the service during the 23-24 Jacket Parent Academy Graduation & Volunteer Celebration.
Jen Fuller-Allen, CEO, accepted the Extraordinary Service award for the J. Smith Young YMCA during the 23-24 JPA Graduation & Volunteer Celebration.
Captain Best of the Lexington Police Department accepted the Extraordinary Service Award during the 23-24 JPA Graduation & Volunteer Celebration.
Lakisha Lattimore, TA Specialist at SL, accepted the award for outstanding services in helping to prepare parents of kindergartners.
Tonya Withers, Lead Counselor at LSHS, accepted the award for outstanding services in helping parents learn the basics of high school.
Ms. Olivia McMillian, school counselor at LMS, accepted the award for her department's outstanding service in educating our parents on the perks of middle school.

William Pass, College Recruiter & Admissions Counselor, accepted the Extraordinary Service Award for DDCC at the 23-24 JPA Graduation & Volunteer Celebration.

Pastor Steve Davis of Servants House Ministry accepted the award for his church's outstanding support of Lexington City Schools.

Tashina Patterson, owner of Blissful Baskets & JPA Ambassador, accepted the award for her outstanding service in providing numerous incentives for parents to attend classes.
Mrs. Jessie Delapp, teacher at Southwest Elementary Global Academy, accepted the award for her outstanding service in helping to prepare parents for their students adventures in elementary school.
