Welcome to 5th Grade!

My name is Ms. Murphy and I have been teaching for 20 years. I am a 2001 graduate from High Point University earning a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Religion. I attended Catawba college located in Salisbury, North Carolina and earned a Master's in Elementary Education in 2009.  I have spent most of my career teaching for Davidson County Schools working as a Math Specialist. I joined Southwest Elementary in 2017 serving fourth and fifth grade AIG students in math and science.
