Hello Everyone, 

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! My name is Ms. Long and this is my fifth year teaching, & my fourth year here at Pickett Elementary in 3rd grade! I have also taught 4th grade for one year & I am a former assistant childcare teacher of over six plus years before beginning my teaching career in public schools. In Dec. 2019 I became a graduate of UNC Pembroke (Go Braves!) with a B.S in Elementary Education (K-6) & a concentration in English. I enjoy learning new things & sharing that love for learning with those around me. I believe every child is capable of learning. I am very excited about all that we will learn and accomplish this year in 3rd grade! Ready, Set, Grow!
