Hello! My name is Mrs. Gunter and I am so happy to be a part of the Charles England family! I am a second grade teacher and have been for the past 3 years. I have lived in Lexington for my whole life and grew up in education, with both of my parents being educators. I still live in Lexington with my husband and our two dogs; Felicity and Beesly. I was a teacher's assistant before I transitioned into my own classroom. I have been working with kids since I have been able to have a job! Teaching and kids are my true passion. I encourage my students to become leaders and work to the very best of their abilities. I believe in students holding each other accountable in kind ways and building each other up to foster a sense of community in my classroom. I expect respect and hard work from my students and I believe it is my responsibility as their teacher to show them the same amount of respect and hard work.
