Ms. Boutazar
My name is Michelle Boutazar (pronounced BOO-TA-ZAR), but you can call me Mrs. B. This is my fifth year at Charles England and my fourth year teaching third grade. I have two children who are students at Charles England. When I am not teaching, I like to read, go hiking with my kids and I love to go to the beach. I have a BA from Sonoma State University in Santa Rosa, CA and an MEd from U of Phoenix.
Every year, I look forward to seeing all of you learn, grow and lead through new experiences in third grade. I have high expectations for my students and I want to make sure they all know that they can accomplish anything as long as they put their minds to it. When things get difficult, we will work together to find solutions that best meet the needs of each child.
A major factor in being a third grade student is responsibility. Third graders learn how to become more responsible for themselves. They are in charge of making sure that they have all of the items they need to complete their assignments, their pencils, materials and handouts. They work on keeping their personal spaces tidy and keeping track of their materials.
