• Academics

    • Homework/Classwork -  This course will focus heavily on source analysis and evaluation of concepts.  This translates into an emphasis on written assessments.  Lengths of these assignments will vary, and assignments not completed during class time will automatically default into homework. 

     

    • Late Work - All online assignments are due by 10:55 pm on the Sunday of the week they are assigned.  Late work is accepted, but students will receive a reduced score based on the number of days the assignment is late (0.5 points per day late) 

     

    • Missing/Incomplete Work - Any missing work will receive a grade of “0” until it is turned in.  Incomplete assignments that have been submitted, will be graded for what has been completed.

  • Classroom Operations:

     

    • Class Behavior - Students need to ask appropriate questions, participate in activities, and complete assignments. Sleeping, refusing to participate/complete assignments and inappropriate behavior is unacceptable and will affect your academic success. 

    • Electronic Devices - Cell phones and other electronic devices are not allowed unless you have teacher permission.  

      • 1st. Warning - Asked to put your device away.

      • 2nd Warning - Asked to put your device away and parent contact

      • 3rd. Warning - Teacher write-up and office referral
