This will be my fifth year teaching Public Safety at Lexington Senior High. Before I started teaching, I spent over 30 years in the Fire Service. I retired from the Lexington Fire Department where I held the rank of Chief for the last 8 years of my career. I loved my job and I loved going to work everyday. I learned something new each time we went a call. I have worked for Davidson County Emergency Services as an EMT Intermediate and have worked very closely with the Lexington Police Department and the Davidson County Sheriff's Department. I know Public Safety and I plan to pass as much of that knowledge onto you. A career in Public Safety is a very rewarding career. My motto is:
