Hello Pickett Elementary School parents and families!  My name is Dr. Judy Richards and as your new principal I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2023-2024 academic year. We have been working all summer to ensure we have a great year. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve and work alongside you this year. I am a principal that strives for excellence, making sure that I am present and visible each and everyday. My vision as a leader is to be an extraordinary leader that encourages collaboration and creativity using relationships as a foundation with you and your students at the center.

Hello Pickett families!  I have the honor and privilege of serving all of our students and families in the front office, and I am so glad you are here!  I love working at Pickett, and I am blessed to be able to watch all of our students learn and grow from our Kindergarteners to our fifth graders.

I graduated from High Point University with a bachelors degree in Communications. Family is very important to me.  I am married, I have two children, and 13 animals.
