    Battle of the Books 2021-2022

This summer we challenged students to read three books over the summer break. We are used the North Carolina 2021-2022 Battle of the Books list as a guide for suggested reading. It is our hope that the summer reading challenge would not only keep students’ minds sharp, but will help prepare them to compete in this year’s local, regional, and state Battle of the Books competitions.

Students, below you will find the list of books accompanied by a brief description of each. We suggest you begin by reading 3 of the 27 books. Find a friend or two and share your books.

Please contact the school with any questions, comments, or concerns at (336) 242-1567.
